If this gains traction, OpenAI is no longer just an AI company. It’s evolving into a media and lifestyle company, shaping what we see and think about each day.
This is a powerful strategic play. By weaving itself deeper into our daily lives, OpenAI is building a moat that goes beyond technology — it’s about influence and habit.
But it’s also a dangerous play. Two critical questions remain: 1️⃣ Is AI ready in terms of reliability, safety, and trustworthiness to guide our daily lives? 2️⃣ Is the organization behind the AI one that we can fully trust with that level of influence?
The move is bold, the implications are profound. Frankly, I am concerned about such a concentration of societal influence.
What are your thoughts on this? Do you see this as a step forward or a reason for concern?
