Here are some recent changes we shipped for AI Parrot and Spell Parrot, many driven by exactly this kind of feedback:

🦜 AI Parrot

Child account login

• Parents can now enable login for their children with a username and password.

• Child accounts have restricted access: no settings, no profile switching. Just a safe chat screen.

• Username is unique across Learn Parrot apps. Sign up and reserve your kid’s username now!

Bug fix:

• Keyboard was blocking chat input on iOS 26.2. Fixed.

🦜 Spell Parrot

Reorder words with drag-and-drop

• Hold and drag to arrange your spelling list.

• This addresses OCR not returning words in the right order sometimes.

Select words for practice

• Choose which words to include in each session.

• This enables smarter practice.

• Child can skip words they already know during repeat practice.

Hide Words mode

• PIN-protected toggle to hide answers during practice.

• Turn it on to prevent your kid from peeking at the list when you assess them.

Bug fix:

• No sound when the hardware silent switch is on in iOS.
