Our team at Hashmeta Group just pulled off something we thought impossible—organizing a premier product launch event in 14 days.

Congratulations! This is our 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁, this time for our client 𝗠𝗮𝘅𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁!
Mid last year, we had the idea to organize an 𝗔𝗜 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀, driven by consistent client requests. Many told us the same thing: ”𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗔𝗜 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀.”
We’re a 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆, and event management was not in our core offering. One event vendor quoted us a 𝘀𝗶𝘅-𝗳𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗺 just for management alone—excluding venue, stage setup, and other essentials. We were shocked. Another vendor turned us down, thinking it was not viable as we wanted to do it in 4 months.
But we asked ourselves: 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝗯𝗲?
Some of us had experience organizing large-scale events back in our student days and in alumni associations. We believed we could figure it out.
Some partners were skeptical, but we made it happen.
Our 𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘂𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 Business Plus AI 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 was a huge success. We invited leaders from government, big clouds, large consulting firms, think tanks, and tech companies. It drew over 𝟯𝟱𝟬 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗲𝘀, mostly made up of our clients and our partners’ clients. It took 𝟰 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, but it was worth it.
𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲? We did it in 𝟮 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝘀. Not by choice, but by circumstance.
Special thanks to our guest speakers: Dr. Ken Tong Wei Jian, Dr. Rupesh Agrawal, Dr. Ivan Leung, and Dr Li Lian Foo (符丽联) for their insightful sharing.
Not forgetting a huge thank you to our close partners who came on board quickly and supported us with incredible agility. This event wouldn’t have been possible without you.
Last but not least, this event wouldn’t be possible without: Dr. Ivy Zhang and the Maxight team for the great product. Terrence Ngu Teck Kong for his great leadership and agility. Monica Zhuang for her great design. Rebecca, Mathieu, Amy, and the Global8 team for the great experience. Lerene Tong as a great host for the day.
Despite Hashmeta’s core being a digital marketing and tech company, we are looking forward to more physical events. There is a magical experience in meeting face-to-face. Human touch has become increasingly important in the age of AI and digital.
Let’s stay connected!
(Maxight has a great product that is solving one of the greatest health concerns of modern-day kids - myopia. This deserves a dedicated post)
