Foundations of Claude Code: Learn and Apply By Building Your Own Website
The entry point to Claude Code, designed for non-techies. Learn the foundations by building your own personal brand or company website, live by the end of the day.
Foundations first, with a real website to apply your learning
The emphasis of this workshop is a strong grasp of how to work with Claude Code and similar AI agents, the skills that transfer to almost anything you do with AI next. The website is the most tangible project to practice every one of those foundations on, and it is a real one you walk out with, live on its own URL.
Designed for non-techies, taught by a 19-year industry veteran
This workshop is for people who have no prior experience in coding or the Terminal, who want to learn the foundations of Claude Code. If you’ve ever felt like “tech stuff” wasn’t for you, like websites and AI tools were a club you weren’t invited to, this is built for you. No jargon, no prerequisites, no assumptions about what you already know.
Most AI and website workshops come from one of two camps: techies with no real grounding in business or marketing, or non-techies who never built strong software-engineering fundamentals. This one is built differently, by someone who is genuinely both a builder and a marketer. It is for people who have never written a line of code and don’t intend to, who get nervous when words like “deployment,” “framework,” or “repository” come up, who maybe tried this before and felt stupid or fell behind, and who just want a real result without a computer-science detour.
You learn it directly from Boon Kgim, an industry veteran with 19 years building websites and software. The shortcuts, the patterns, the gotchas, the things that take most people years to figure out, you get them in one afternoon, distilled and handed to you straight. Making complex things simple for non-technical clients is the entire teaching style.
Claude Code is the foundation everything else builds on. Once you can work with it, the same skills carry over to writing documents, automating tasks, analysing data, building tools, and prototyping ideas, almost anything you’d want a computer to do for you. The workshop covers those foundations, and to make them stick you apply them immediately by building your own website in the room, a personal-brand or company site, whichever fits where you are now. Think of it as your digital profile, the place people land when they’re deciding whether to hire you, work with you, or buy from you, on a real, live URL you can put on a name card, a LinkedIn profile, or an email signature the moment you walk out.

You’re not paying for a course. You’re paying for the compressed experience of 19 years building websites and software, with Boon Kgim sitting next to you while you do it once.
Why build a website, and what the foundations unlock after
Foundations only become real when you apply them to something tangible. A website is the perfect first project: it has structure, content, design, and a real outcome the world can see. By the end of the day you’ve put every core Claude Code skill into practice at least once, on a project that’s actually yours and actually live. The website is the proof; the foundations are what you take everywhere else, into drafting documents and proposals, automating repetitive work, analysing spreadsheets, building small internal tools, prototyping ideas, almost anything text-based.
And the site is SEO- and GEO-ready by design. Roughly 80 to 90% of getting found by AI engines like ChatGPT is still classic SEO done right. nanogent.ai itself got discovered through ChatGPT off the SEO basics alone. You build on Boon’s decade-plus running SEO, so your site is findable from day one, by people and by AI.
And you leave knowing how to keep going. Boon walks you through exactly how to talk to Claude Code after the workshop, how to ask the right questions when you’re stuck, and how to extend your site as you grow. The site you build today is version one; you’ll be equipped for version two, three, and ten on your own, without coming running back.
Built by learners who had never opened a Terminal
Most of these learners had never touched a Terminal before the workshop. They applied the foundations and shipped real, live websites, custom domains, contact forms, mobile responsive. Most are not engineers, they are consultants, coaches, educators, a voice actor. Domain experts who can now ship.

Common questions
Do I need any technical background? +
No. This is the true entry point to Claude Code, designed for people with zero technical experience. If you can describe what you want in plain English, you're ready.
Do I need to pay for Claude Code? +
Yes, you'll need a Claude subscription (not included in the course fee). Minimum is Claude Pro; Claude Max 5x is recommended for the best experience during and after the workshop.
Will the website actually look professional? +
Yes. You describe your business or personal brand in plain language and Claude Code generates production-quality HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Not a template fill-in, a real custom site.
Will the website be SEO and GEO optimised? +
Yes. Your site is built SEO- and GEO-ready out of the box, clean structure, meta tags, Open Graph, sitemap, and fast static hosting, drawing on Boon's decade-plus running SEO. Roughly 80 to 90% of getting found by AI engines like ChatGPT is still classic SEO done right.
See the 3 pillars of SEO, with proofWhat if I can't finish my website during the workshop? +
That is completely fine, and more common than you'd think. People walk in at very different starting points, and the goal is the foundations, not a finished site by 6pm. You leave knowing exactly how to keep going on your own, with a post-workshop guide and a support group to help. You can also re-attend any future cohort for free to pick up where you left off.
How I make sure no one is left behindCan I edit the site after the workshop? +
Yes, and you'll know how. A meaningful chunk of the workshop is dedicated to teaching you how to keep talking to Claude Code on your own, so you can tweak, debug, and extend without coming back.
What if I already have a website? +
You can use the workshop to redesign it, add pages, or start a second project (landing page, portfolio, or side business site). The foundations are what carry over, the website is just where they get applied.
How is this different from the WEB-1 workshop? +
CC-1 is the foundations course, the website is the practice project to make those foundations stick. WEB-1 is purely about getting a website live. If you want the underlying skill that transfers to documents, automation, analysis, and more, start with CC-1.
