Foundations of Claude Code: Learn and Apply By Building Your Own Website
The entry point to Claude Code, designed for non-techies. Learn the foundations by building your own personal brand or company website, live by the end of the day.
Designed for non-techies. Facilitated by an industry expert who’s built websites and software for 19 years.
This workshop is for people who don’t code, don’t want to code, and shouldn’t have to. If you’ve ever felt like “tech stuff” wasn’t for you, like websites and AI tools were a club you weren’t invited to, this is built for you. No jargon. No prerequisites. No assumptions about what you already know.
You’re not learning from a textbook or a generic tutorial. You’re learning directly from Boon Kgim, an industry veteran with 19 years of experience building websites and software. The shortcuts, the patterns, the gotchas, the things that take most people years to figure out, you get them in one afternoon, distilled and handed to you straight.
Claude Code is the foundation everything else builds on. Once you understand how to work with it, the same skills carry over to writing documents, automating tasks, analysing data, building tools, prototyping ideas, almost anything you’d want a computer to do for you. This workshop covers those foundations, and to make sure they actually stick, you apply and integrate them immediately by building your own website in the room — a personal branding site or a company site, whichever fits where you are right now.
Think of it as your digital profile. The place people land when they Google you, when they’re deciding whether to hire you, work with you, or buy from you. A real, professional, live URL you can put on a name card, a LinkedIn profile, or an email signature the moment you walk out.
You don’t leave with theory. You leave with a working URL and the foundational skills to use Claude Code for everything else after.
Why this works for non-techies
Most “learn to build a website” workshops were designed by technical people for technical people, then watered down. This one is the opposite. It was designed from day one for people who:
- Have never written a line of code and don’t intend to
- Get nervous when terms like “deployment,” “framework,” or “repository” come up
- Have tried to learn this stuff before and felt stupid or fell behind
- Just want a result, without a computer science detour
If that’s you, you’re in the right room. Boon Kgim has spent his career making complex things simple for non-technical clients. That’s the entire teaching style.
Why learn from Boon Kgim
- 19 years building websites and software as a technopreneur, tech consultant, and growth marketer
- Built 10+ apps with Claude Code and developed a battle-tested workflow
- Uses Claude Code daily beyond coding — presentations, proposals, workshops, automation, marketing, and more
- A track record of teaching non-technical founders, freelancers, and professionals who walked in nervous and walked out with live sites
- Direct access during the workshop, you ask, he answers, no TA layer in between
- Access to a post-workshop support group
You’re not paying for a course. You’re paying for the compressed experience of 19 years building websites and software, with Boon Kgim sitting next to you while you do it once.
Why a website?
Because foundations only become real when you apply and integrate them into something tangible. A website is the perfect first project: it has structure, content, design, and a real outcome the world can see. By the end of the day, you’ve put every core Claude Code skill into practice at least once, on a project that’s actually yours — a digital profile that’s actually live.
The website is the proof. The foundations are what you take everywhere else.
You’re not done when you leave
This is the part most workshops get wrong. You leave here knowing how to keep going.
Boon Kgim walks you through exactly how to tweak your site after the workshop, how to talk to Claude Code when something isn’t quite right, how to ask the right questions when you’re stuck, and how to extend your site as your business or personal brand grows. You’ll get a feel for the conversation, not just the commands.
The site you build today is version one. Boon Kgim makes sure you’re equipped for version two, three, and ten, on your own, without needing to come running back.
