How to Keep Up with AI Changes in Your Business
Someone asked me this question recently.
Someone asked me this question recently.
It made me recall an age-old wisdom inspired by Sun Tzu’s Art of War. 以不变应万变 - Use constancy to respond to myriad changes.
Don’t focus on what’s changing. Focus on what doesn’t.
When external conditions are unpredictable, internal consistency becomes a strength.
While technologies like AI are transforming how we work, the fundamentals of business remain constant: it’s still about creating value.
No matter how advanced the tools get, every business still needs to:
✅ Attract and convert customers (marketing & sales) ✅ Serve and retain them (customer service) ✅ Build a strong team (HR) ✅ Deliver what’s promised (fulfilment & operations) ✅ Manage cash flow, risk, and profitability (finance)
AI can amplify these functions, but it doesn’t replace the core purpose of a business.
Instead of chasing every new trend, start with solid, fundamental business principles. Then ask: How can AI help me do this better, faster, or more efficiently?
The foundations remain. The tools evolve. That’s how we stay grounded and grow.
